Enhancement to Standard Datasource -2

Continue from Part 1.

Target System. BI

1.    First make sure that the new Info objects which are to be part of enhancement are created or available part of SAP Standard Info Objects.For our example am going to use 0USERNAME for User Id and created new Info object ZREF1H_HD without Master Data option.

2.    Now ready to add them to our DSO for Account Parables.


 

3.    Add the Info Objects to the DSO by choosing option CHANGE from Context Menu. After adding the objects Activate the DSO

4.    This will deactivate the Transformation  , Data source etc which are part of Data Flow.

5.    Replicate the Data Source by choosing Replicate Metadata which bring all the changes done to DATA SOURCE at ECC level. and activate the same.
 

6.    Activate the Transformation after mapping the fields for which we added in step 3 above.

7.    Activate the DTP.

8.    Execute the Info Package by giving some values in selection criteria so that we will get  smaller set of data. Execute DTP, ACTIVATE the request. The DSO Hierarchy  look like here.

9.    See the results by displaying the data from DSO and compare the same with Test results of the step 6 part of steps done under Source System ECC.
